Ride</title><summary type='text'>Ok, so everybody knows my current disdain for the bike. I have taken it to a new level. 3 hour ride on the schedule turned into a 1:20 run today. I got my new heart rate monitor. Wore it for the run but didn't pay any attention to it after I realized I would be walking the entire run if I stayed in zone 2. Boy does it make you kick faster.  It was awesome.  Not awesome was that it removed the skin from my feet.  And not just a tiny blister we are talking the top layer of skin from the front of my foot down.   For treatment I decided to use “New Skin”.  I’ve used this before and it really helps. It is part of the benefits of having the Ironman Passport, which I HAD TO get (according to Ms. Kristy Marino) to improve my chances of winning the Kona Lottery. It is a very cool ID card that says Ironman ID on the front, has a nice picture of two runners as the sun is going down in the background. Yoga is not at all what I think it should be.  I think Yoga should be stretching and the like.  not balancing and holding weird positions that I never get into in normal life. Never had a more annoying swim due to others.  Am I just too easy to annoy?  In no particular order here they are:1.  The pool is packed from swim team practice.  Only 3 lanes available for lap swim.  Lane sharing is not my favorite thing to do.2.  Guy swimming with a bucket and fins.  He was doing kick drills with it for like 45 minutes.
